Strictly an advanced amateur trying to take
pics of the family and occasionally some
great landscapes. Fully converted over to
digital.
By day I'm an engineering consultant with
two employees - this pays too well to be a
professional photographer. On weekends,
holidays, trips, climbing excursions, etc. I try
to fit a bit of photography in there.
I am lucky enough to be able to travel a bit
and live in Seattle where I'm 5 minutes from
salt water, 1/2 hour from mountain trails,
and a couple hours away from a volcano.
I hike/climb/backpack as much as possible,
which isn't enough most times.
I have identical twin daughters, a lovely
camera shy wife, a house and two cats.
Do I have too many lenses - who knows!
