Re: Zeiss Lens Photos and Discussion (see also ZE/ZF/ZM thread)
There isn\'t much we could do against the murderous politics of our western countries, but at least we don\'t go out killing people personally. That\'s at least something, Cyra. See, how civilized we are, we have our global players doing the killing for us. It could drive me mad to see what our countries do to keep up our western living style. Just look any tv report about Africa, where hordes of maroders kill children, women, wiping out whole villages for getting Coltan for our industries and than the report being interrupted for a marketing trailer \"doodledee - deedledoo - just buy our blinky-blunky hair shampoo and you will be happy for the rest of your life! - doodledee - deedledoo\" Isn\'t that just insane? Well. Back to our photos.

Yes, I have an idea about the new 25. It will be announced in October, so keep an eye for the Zeiss website. And if everything goes well, delivery of the first production batch will be in Germany right before Christmas. If you and Carsten are interested, I could make for 3 lenses to be measured at the Zeiss laboratories to pick the best ones out of the batch. That\'s how I got my 18 btw. And for your question about the 28: I\'m sorry, I have no experience with that lens at all. Never had it in my hands, so never gave it a try.
I have deleted the last photo of St. Annen, it was simply too bad. I should have taken a 3-shot-HDR to fetch the highlights better. I hope to think of that next time. I put in another photo instead, which is the first one taken with my new 18:
