Re: Zeiss Lens Photos and Discussion (see also ZE/ZF/ZM thread)
Carsten, Aham B- My images are hosted by Zeissimages.com. This time around, I checked and it was not the strange zooming effect I experienced last time. Checked the original RAW and It is probably a combination of not-good original and weak sharpening. It is either I did not have critical focus, or got some motion blur occurred although I was using a tripod, every now and then, I used it as a \'monopod\'. These could be from those situation. Basically I was fooled by the micro contrast of ZF100.
Romaln - #1 #3 are definitely my favorite
Carsten - Brilliant works. Love your tree shots. Very pretty leaves with the 50MP shot. Shallow DOF effect of 8 and 25 shot stitch are very effective and the dreamy quality it shows is very attractive. It is not the dreaminess usually associated with spherical abberation, but sort of the hyper-real one, As FlyPen puts it, probably the MF type quality. Composition wise, I find I am drawn to the 3 shot stitch a little more, but I question myself whether that is because it has more familiar structure to my eyes. Definitely love that Danish Bed shot. Brilliant. Something about the sand texture and spring coils is captivating.

It is probably a combination of bad original and weak sharpening. It is either I did not have critical focus, or got some motion blur although I was using a tripod, every now and then, I used it as a \'monopod\'. I don\'t remember how I shot those. Most likely I was fooled by the micro contrast of ZF100.
