If you get your exposure bang on, you can sometimes get away with iso 1250 if you\'re willing to do some heavy noise reduction. If you don\'t though (and the meter\'s not awesome on the M8, neither is the auto white balance), your shadows get really noisy and you\'ll often get banding as well.
