Of course, Carsten. I was more or less joking. Prices develop in waves and very well possible, that you can get a restored Indian now for that price. As rare as they are as rare are customers, who are willng to pay a fortune for an 80 years old piece of technic, if you can get a new Harley for the same price. (I definitely would, if I could afford it! )
Btw don\'t we have the same mentality? We are paying & playing for / with toys, which are completely anachronistic, if you want so. We are dedicated to lenses, which others don\'t even remark any difference to modern lenses and leave them shaking their heads about our misguided fashion. And not many photographers are willing to invest such painstaking efford to work out the subtle qualities of our lenses.
