But crass generalizations and the demonizing of those you don\'t agree with - be they conservative or liberal - is simplistic. Society isn\'t black and white, now matter how many stories that might sell.
Listen, these sorts of events should be covered in some format, film, video, etc. because they are an important window on our society and serve to memorialize certain events. All coverage is biased, to some degree, but I think in a photojournalistic sense, the key is to attempt to communicate the zeitgeist, without becoming an apparatchik of any particulary ideaology. Communicate, visually. Let the subject matter speak for itself.
I\'m fatigued on demagoguery in real life as well as reading it in forums, can we please just stay on program here? Photography, please? Be it photojournalistic concept, reportage, art, craft, technique, etc.
Or hell, we could even talk about gear! Like the gigapan setup at Obama\'s inaguration...
