Just be aware that if you want an Apo-R 180/2.8 that accepts a 1.4 apo extender, you have to find one that has been factory modified or one with a serial number above 3986434.
Most of them out there will not accept the apo 1.4 extender. They all accept a 2X extender.
Optically, I believe that all of the Apo 180/2.8\'s are the same. With the 1.4 extender, you have a cracking 252mm.
