Thanks Aaron. In 5, there was a layer of very bright silt on the rocks just below the water surface, like white beach sand, which makes it look so bright. The small part in the water in 1 on the right side mid-ground that looks blown was a red rock reflection from above that washed out when I added a red filter to the rest of the image. I may play around with that a bit more, but thought it looked better as a highlight and more muddled if I brought it down to the brightness of the surrounding leaves.
