I\'ll try to keep quite from now on (not sure I\'ll manage though) but all I can say to you is this: You try to live under constant fear for decades (think of 9/11 on a smaller scale but on a constant frequency) and then - only then - judge us.
Do you know how many songs we have about a better tomorrow, the one which never seem to come? About tranquility? About the desire for peace? Do you know how it is to live without hope? To bear and raise children which you know that will have to fight for their lives, just like you did and just like your parents have done? You probably don\'t. I envy you to no end but at least have the decency to try to understand, and not necessarily to accept, under which hard conditions we live in and why we do what we do.
No, I am not proud of some things the Israeli army or the Israeli government have done but I do understand them from the simple reason that I live here.
