Derigan, I also love this image. The exagerated wrinkles on the forehead and the comedy of the eyes cranked tight to the side are great. So much of good photography is about nuance, at least once we get beyond the blatant T&A of \"fashion.\" Well, there too I guess, except for Playboy, Maxim, and so-called \"fine art\" nudes.
I hate every image I have ever made in 30 years of doing photography. But I am still so in love with the medium. The small details of thess simple images really remind me why.
Listening to \"89X\" retro on the radio out of Detroit this morning, 70\'s, 80\'s, 90\'s music. Cure, Sonic Youth, Radiohead, etc.
A good photo seems so much like a good \"pop\" song. Nothing too complicatyed or complex or sophisticated. A short story or a poem, not a novel.
Amazing that we can still make images/songs that are interesting after so many millions of images/songs that we have seen/heard over the years. And that the old stuff is still really good - sometimes at least.
A lot of other geat images here too folks. I rarely post images on the web, mostly because it seems pointless to post for a random audience.
But this forum is different. Keep sharing! And enjoy the holidays.
