AI scans massive amounts of documents looking for patterns. This includes forums and marketing stuff. As a result it will feed you any misconception as fact. Why? Bacause misconceptions and lies vastly outnumber the few facts on the net.
This is in short what the Google AI told me when we had discussed boat propeller design concepts and I had refused to accept the everyone-knows-this common knowledge because it simply is against the physics. I had to reject the presented "facts" five times before the fact came through.
One funny detail, after the fourth rejection part of the answer was that "if this concerns health issues, please contact proffessional healthcare". In a discussion about bow vs stern lift pops...
My conclusion is that if you really REALLY want to know something you have to know the real answer, the facts, so you know them when/if AI presents them for you. However, if it works it works no matter what. Why is mostly irrelevant as long as it works.
But the greasy praise AI had for my "fundamental understanding of hydrodynamics". Oh please, NOOO! Yuk!
