Yes - age = ultralight! - this coming from a 72-yr old who did that same trip last year, 3rd week of Sept.
That range of mountains really appeals to me so much that I would probably do it again this year, now that all this rain has cleared the skies, but for the price of gas. I have gone the last 5 years after it being on my bucket list since the late 70s.
I recognize every photo - thanks for bringing those memories right back. Now I am re-thinking my decision not to go this year. Who knows, September isn't over yet!
