The 16-35/4 PZ has worked well for me in a landscape kit. It is surprisingly great optically, and the small size and very light weight make it extremely enjoyable in the field, the way it balances toward the camera is wonderful. The power zoom toggle switch never has to be touched if one does not like it, as there is an electronic zoom ring as well (the focal length you are zoomed at shows in the EVF).
