On the other hand, I’m hard pressed to think of many situations where a silent shutter is necessary but the visual intrusion from electronic flash wood be OK? ;-)
(I’ve used electronic shutter with other cameras to photograph during classical music concerts — where folks get really upset about camera sounds, with good reason — and for some other event photography.)
