I’ve been blessed to be in the Blue Ridge mountains for the last several days. This region has had my heart since my first visit 18 years ago, and later I found out my ancestors came from here and it makes more sense why I feel a connection in these mountains unlike any other place I’ve been in America. This time of year presents budding forests with subtle colors that almost remind one of autumn, foggy rain clouds adding atmosphere, and the always glorious views of layer after layer of ridges. If my love for this land comes through in the images, I’ll have done my job
