My favourite is a freeware program called Upscayl it has basic upscale models with it but I had best results with custom models , i would recommend experimenting with it to see which model works best for the image
Its easy to use and add custom models which people have developed
Results are very good and is handy for those occasions where you just were not able to get close enough
For upscayl the original image does have to be sharp for something that isn’t quite there i think Aiarty is better
Thank you - I will look but I think I need some AI help for extremes. I will read about Upscaly and Aiarty.
