I've been enjoying the pics, though they be sparse lately. Been too busy with commitments and work to take any pics of my own. Plus the temperature has been down in the very-cold range while Nikon's spec for the Z5-II has an operating temperature 32F and above, not that I'm a slave to specs but single-digit temperature is ridiculous.
OTOH, a Nikon HS-8 hood arrive in the mail yesterday, looking brand new, better than expected. It was of course intended for the 105mm as you folks suggested but the 52mm diameter fits my lenses too. That's one advantage of an detachable hood! Plus it makes any lens look so darn serious and menacing.
If we get more snow on Sunday my sweetie and I will spend the day indoors and I'll have to invent something else to take a picture of.
