I have a love/hate relationship with the R100
The main dislike is canon disabled the function of the control ring on its NATIVE!!! Lens line up….i mean …. WTF😳
The lack of sensor cleaning on a fully exposed sensor is just pathetic…!! Even the lowly M series bodies had sensor cleaning!!
The body is just a tad too small , specifically the hand grip. I discovered Amazon sells the Neewer cage for the R50 that also perfectly fits the R100 too (I bought the R50 too) the cage adds a better grip and has fantastic 3 point anchor to the body… really is brilliant, both R100 and R50 are fitted permanently with the Neewer cages
Besides those annoying faults, then yes I agree it’s a great little camera.
My two are paired with RF 16, 28, 50 & 80 which in effect gives the FF equivalent of 25, 45, 80 & 135!! That’s a really neat travel / day kit to grab a few snaps. I also added a pair of the bloody brilliant EL-100 flash guns. The tiny size, 2cell and fantastic articulation are superb.
I just wish canon woukd release the M 22 & 32 in RF-s mount.
