That's exactly the issue here I think. This should have been released alongside the A7RV for 2023 prices. Now it's late to the party and it has the ugly 2025 pricing on it. The value proposition is gone and all this camera has left is the AI autofocus as the selling feature. Most people looking for a 'boutique' compact camera might as well spend $1000 more and get a Leica Q3 now.
Heck, even the Fuji X100VI at €1799 looks good now in comparison.
