I was so happy to be able to zoom out on this blue jay! They're fairly big birds, so even when I think they're far enough away, they still fill the frame at 600mm. While with most birds I feel like I need to use my 800mm PF, for the bigger ones even 600mm can be a little too much sometimes. I'm still very pleased with this lens.
