I use the 80 a lot. I actually think it should be the first GF prime one should get since it's very versatile. It's just not something you get first if you live on the wider end solely. Lifeinpictures wrote:

Love the character of the 80mm 1.7, even with all the optical flaws.
This lens reminds me of the Canon EF 85 1.2 II, back when I was using Canon.
My family used to call that lens, “The Magic Eye”.
The GF80mm 1.7 feels and produces images like “The Magic Eye”
I had it for 1 day on a loaner at a Fujifilm event, and I still can’t stop thinking about it.
The Fuji guys kept pointing me to the direction of the 110 and I kept going back to the 80mm.
I too found the images from the 110 boring for some reason.
I missed the last sale, but will definitely get one, the next time around.
