There are very few IQ tradeoffs between the Z7ii and Z8/Z9 sensors. What would be super duper interesting is if they could make a Z6iii sized Z8 and slot it in at $3200.
I don't see a bunch of people clamoring for the ancient sony 61mp sensor in a Nikon body. There are no other sensors on the horizon for now.
