 Bugaboo Provincial Park from Ridge in Front of Cobalt Lake | |
Bugaboo Provincial Park is in BC. It is about 30km up from Radium Hot Springs and then 40k by logging roads. It is a internationally known climbing location. But I am too old for that.
My legs still hurt. After 900m over 7km, I was puffing with a 40lb packsack and my drone and camera and bivy. And then down, I can barely walk down my stairs at home. But enough of the whining.
It was a glorious evening. Perhaps about freezing. I kept my bivy open and fell asleep watching the Milky Way without light pollution. I was too tired to take pictures of the Milky Way. I will just remember it.
Then the morning was equally spectacular - but missing clouds from a photographers perspective.
