I've posted a couple of photos from this shoot where I photographed my best friend Vinnie but I haven't attempted to make a color shot from this shoot, as I've been struggling a bit with getting the right "look" for it. I recently bought some digital backdrops though, one of which finally gave me the inspiration I needed to make a color image from this shoot.
Canon 5D MKIII, Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 lens, lit in studio using two Neewer S101-400 strobes. The main light had a 47" octagon umbrella with a diffuser, and the second light had a 24" octa box, which was used to create some subtle light from behind for a bit of separation. I'd have used a different modifier for this purpose, but at the moment these two are what I have so I do my best to make it work.
