Biggest advantage of the A7c(r) cameras is they are full frame, just like my other man cameras allowing my lenses to work the same no matter what camera I use. That to me is a huge benefit. I want my 25mm be 25mm no matter what camera I use.
As far as lack of mechanical shutter, I see no issues with what I shoot during my travels.
