BTW, for those of you with the ability to apply Sony firmware updates with the SD card , I'm guessing this applies to Sony lens firmware updates too?
Now from the hot dog seat. This maybe the best overall lens Sony actually makes given that it's great from 70 to 200mm. Thats not easy for me to say as I test lenses but seriously not BS or fanboy talk this is a lens almost everyone should have in their bag. This job im doing right now is about 15 to 20 thousand images in a few days and Sony has nothing better at all for it. This lens screams I used to rent the original version that's not even close to the optics of Version II. I shoot this job in crop mode at 200mm mostly and it rarely misses the image quality standards. Fast focus and deadly accuracy. And I hate zooms so bug comment from me. Get this lens
