I have made a few visits to a remote mountain village in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. I am slowly making friends with its inhabitants. They appreciate that I bring prints to them, and I appreciate their great authenticity. They make wonderful subjects, because there is very little artifice involved. The last time I was there, I used an open window to frame my shots. The results are below.
