I wonder if Sony is still the primary manufacturer for the Z8 sensor like the Z9?
Part of the reason that I chose Sony was it's diversification into different product lines. Sony should have a larger R&D budget that will provider cross-over benefits, particularly from their development of cell phone camera sensors.
