Took it out today of ra spin , after about 4 hours at the local rookery and about 3k photos , made it home wit h2 bars on the battery. So not too shabby.
Surprisingly it tracked this duck as he flew behind a pretty big tree at close range.
It wasn't all gravy though , no problems locking on to the snowy, great, or cattle egrets ... but the camera just didn't like the little blue herons. These were very dark , and kind of in the shade so I guess that may have been the issue.
