My copy of the v2 arrived. Unfortunately it has a large piece of dust inside that can even be seen from f/5.6 on. Deciding whether to return it or CLA it.
And I was wrong about the aperture ring on the reissue. I wasn't aware the original aperture ring is basically the exact same way. So I think that was a creative decision that they made. Operating the aperture ring on the v2 pre asph and the reissue feels identical.
The focus ring however feels substantially smoother on the v2. I also personally like the lack of the infinity lock.
