The a1 has similar issues...... Basically avoid current Sony models, and possibly future models, if this is a show stopper.
I'm very happy with the a7R V coming from the a7R III, I didn't feel the a7R IV was enough of an upgrade. It's a decision that everyone has to make for themselves, and at least there is money to be saved for not upgrading!
