Sony being Sony, their emphasis is often on certain features that catches most headlines like the kinds of autofocus improvement, higher fps, higher resolution, video specs and sensor performance. Not saying these aren't important but Sony sometimes neglects and keep neglecting features that are not as high in demand or don't attract as much hype such as, focus bracketing, intervalometer, touch interface, etc.. Intervalometer was added very late and the touch interface was completed very slowly. I believe both were done only under peer pressure. The r line being more photographic centric, it would make sense if Sony adds the FB feature in the r line first. However, Sony being Sony, I don't have much hope for this in the upcoming A7r v.
