If you own a 600 and are this release has triggered buyer's remorse, Canon are offering a service for $6,400 where you can send them your 600 and your extender and they will weld them together. If you later change your mind (perhaps there's a bird perched a bit closer than you expected), the express unwelding service is only $3,200.
