Tarsiers, measuring 9-16 cm (3.5-6 inches) long, are the second smallest primates in the world. In person, you will be surprise just how tiny and cute they are!
Tarsiers live in the tropical rainforests in Southeast Asia. Their huge eyes allow them to hunt at night. Due to their extreme shyness, they don't survive long in captivity. When illegally captured as pets, many commit suicide. Since they hide and sleep in dark places during the day, I had to use ISO6400 and MF to focus on the nearest eye.
