I have just got my 16-35mm f4 pz lens. If I am not lazy, I intend to do a comparison with my 16-35mm f2.8 GM lens at f4 and f5.6. I mainly use my 16-35mm lens for landscape and I rarely if ever need the 2.8 aperture on this lens. Saving on the weight greatly helps me as long as there isn't too much sacrifice on IQ. I have a Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 for when I need the 2.8 aperture.
I also dream Sony will eventually come up with a 100-400mm G lens that is light and compact; something like a 600gr lens would be greatly beneficial (Canon has one in their RF line).
