I have just got my 16-35mm f4 pz lens. If I am not lazy, I intend to do a comparison with my 16-35mm f2.8 GM lens at f4 and f5.6. I mainly use a 16-35mm lens for landscape and I rarely if ever, need the 2.8 aperture on this lens. Saving on the weight greatly helps me as long as there isn't too much sacrifice on IQ. I have a Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 for when I need the 2.8 aperture.

I also dream Sony will eventually come up with a 100-400mm G lens that is light and compact; something like a 600gr lens would be greatly beneficial (Canon has one in their RF line).

+1.
The canon is also super slow at @f8 on the long end, still I somehow can't get used to 100-400GM (it doesn't help that the zoom ring is really jittery compared to my other zooms)...
