Charlie, yes they are from where I live now, New Market, Frederick County. Rt75. The farm is vacant but the buildings still stand. I grew up just down the road(Gaithersburg) in the 1950's after moving here from Iowa. This was there, on this old 1.5 lane road, then because I worked, as a teenager, and raced, at the local dragstrip in 1960's. I now live here. And the drag strip still exists but not for much longer. That town my wife, Suzanne, and I grew up in has been destroyed albeit progress. It was all farmland." So they paved paradise

The "seasonal crews" that cultivate local farmer's crops, "make the rounds" saving farmers money on harvesting equipment that is used once maybe twice a year. This has been going on for years...I hope it will continue. But it is NOT in the future plans!
This field and farm with barn and outbuildings is scheduled to be "raised" for a development.

PS I attended TSC in 1965-1967 was drafted and returned in 1973 to finish my degree on Uncle Sam. Lived in NE Baltimore City-E. Northern Pky from 1971 till 1979 Overlea area. And commuted to DC everyday, 3am.
