Unfortunately, no, the DK-19 is not compatible with the Z9. Nikon changed the eyecup mount from their previous screw-in style, to a bayonet mount on the Z9.

It’s interesting that Nikon kept the legacy 10-pin remote connector for backward compatibility, but not the diopter attachment. Lance did a nice job earlier in this thread showing how to mod a better eyecup for the Z9 and that has helped me greatly to be able to view the EVF in bright light.
The included eyepiece on the Z9 has been problematic for me, as the rubber was constantly coming off the ring, and it is so shallow it offered no shading from peripheral light (the DK-19 was much better). I look forward to seeing what Hoodman comes up with.
