Im in LA shooting my big gig this time of year. It is a Model and Talent convention my wife runs and im in charge of everything related to production . Including shooting it. My assistant and I put on about 15 to 20 thousand images on it. We rent the 70-200mm and this time I got the Version II. Out of the gate it smokes Version by a truck load. Now this lens is on the Hot list. Remember im under very tough stage lighting with all LED lighting which cause a lot of banding. Reason I finally bought the A9II as I want to get away from putting this much use with a mechanical shutter. These are all shot with electronic shutter and using variable shutter activated to get any banding out of my images. LOVE IT let me repeat I LOVE IT. I have rent to rent a Version 1 lens that was this freaking good. Now these are the Talent folks giving a short acting dialogue. We start the Models today with a Jeans competition and one event I produced which is shooting LIVE models walking the runway tethered to my laptop in C1 than immediately pop up on the big screens. Cool stuff
