A Photographer's Delight: Autumn in the Blue Ridge Mountains

I'm currently camped in North Carolina where I've been working the autumn photography season along a section of the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding areas, and conditions have surpassed my expectations. Locals say color was poor the last couple years but this year has been exceptional (and also a week or more behind schedule). Some of the days have been heavy overcast with constant rain and wind and shooting all day in that challenged me, but getting wet was worth it when I reached the higher elevations and the foggy clouds added magical atmosphere to these gorgeous forests.

To say that this region has my heart would be an understatement. I hope you enjoy and thank you for visiting the thread!

Cheers,
Ross
