For those who didn't know, or who forgot, CRT tube would guide beam of electrons through line of screen pixels from one side to the other side, shooting into those creating the light defined by signal strength, then line by line from top to the bottom for each frame, 25fps on PAL system.
That was so fast, that our eyes and brain understood it in very natural way.
Things got worse with early non CRT TVs, but much better now days.
