Spirit Island - Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park
I am way behind from having too much fun this summer. This post is from the end of September. My oldest son got married in August and I convinced him and new wife that since they could not go on honeymoon (Covid restrictions) they should paddle 30km with me to Spirit Island. Spirit Island is an iconic picture that is mid way down Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park in Alberta Canada.
I have been to Maligne/Spirit a number of times and thus I was pursuing something a little different - portrait orientation and from a non iconic spot.
