I shoot wildlife. I decided months ago that my 500PF and sometimes my 200-500 will be my primary Z9-glass for as long as it takes.
I’ll probably do what I usually do: Closely listen to Z-9-conclusions of one or two other top-shellf wildlife photographers.
When the 500PF started showing, I took in all its images that folks posted. And in the end, when I wanted it, I had it two days later. In the meantime, I will continue with my D850/500PF.
Some are saying they will refuse to trust the FTZ adapter, yet they have absolutly no data that demonstrates this AF speed either way. They cannot because there is none yet.
Wildlife photographer Brad Hill shoots long Nikon glass as much as anyone I’d guess. Any conclusions he makes are from countless hours of shooting wildlife.
