Hmm, just as I bought the 12-24mm GM, but I think, I will keep the zoom for now, although I'm mostly a prime user. I find the range of the zoom useful for some city scapes, whereas this prime is more for astro and low light. I rarely do astro, so f/2.8 is doable. But if I sell the 12-24, the 100-400 GM will be my only remaining zoom. The CV and DN primes are dominating everything else. Anyway, it seems like a phenomenal lens to some, and it's impressive with its size. Such lenses tend to compensate vignette for compactness and overall image quality.
