Am I right in thinking that these lenses are designed to offer a small prime alternative to a 24-70 or 24-105mm zoom for the traveller? Otherwise I get the 24mm, there doesn't but the 40/50mm lenses are competing with the 35mm f2.8 and 50mm 1.8.
