Small primes would be great. But are we talking Sony 35/2.8 small or Sony 20/1.8 small?

I would hope for 49mm or 52mm filters and under 300g for a small lens.

400g with a 67mm filter is not something I consider small. But I am sure I am not the target market.

At the reported apertures, they better be less than 200g and one would think a 49mm filter.

Looking at the Tamron trio of wide primes, Sigma I-series and the Sony 35/2.8, my guess is for filter size and weight

24/2.8, 55mm and 230g
40/2.5, 49mm or 40.5mm and 150g
50/2.5, 49mm or 40.5mm and 200g

The domed hood of the 35/2.8 ZA does have a 40.5mm thread and so does the 28-60/4-5.6.

Will they have aperture rings? If they’re intended for A7c with fewer wheels, then perhaps, I guess.

I think they can get the 24mm under 200g too. The Tamron is 215g and 1:2 magnification. The Samyang 24 f/2.8 is a mere 120g and has a 49mm filter. Even the Sigma 24 f/3.5 which is all metal weighs just 225g. If they go with 1:4 or 1:5 magnification it should not be hard at all to keep it under 200g. I do think the filter might be a bit bigger on the 24mm, but they ought to be able to do 58mm. The Tamron's 67mm maybe the result of Tamron using 67mm for a huge number of their lenses.

The Samyang is optically rather poor not commensurate with the expectations of a G lens, which is why it will be as long as the Sigma 24/3.5, to achieve better telecentricuty.
