The fun part about a maturing lens lineup is that there are many more options and as those options age, even just by a year or so, people (like us) tend to want to experiment and that’s where the B&S board comes in. There will be a number of great opportunities to own lenses like the 35 and 50 GMs in the next few years. Try your hand at the VCs 35 APO and 50 APO. Or scoop up old favorites like the Loxias. There are so many lens lineups that make sense now.
If you had told me 5 years ago when I got into this system that we would have class leading glass at nearly every focal length I’d have likely cried. We’re spoiled for choice. At 50 alone we have outstanding options with have the ZA, the GM, CV APO, CV 1.2, 55 1.8, and sigma 45.
