Maybe you’ll get a 50 1.2 GM at 600 grams and $1700! I, unlike others, don’t think this lens will be over 2k. I could easily see Sony designers’ goals for this lens as basically a 50 1.4 GM but with the bonus 1/3 stop thrown in. Same size, weight, and price as an erstwhile 50 1.4 GM. Look at the Sony 35 1.4 GM and the 35 ZA. The GM undercuts it at the register.
