From many of Sony’s more recent releases (GM 24, GM 35, G 20, A7c) they seem to understand and value smaller size. So, I would be quite surprised if they release a bigma type GM 50. I think, like the GM 35, it will come in smaller than we are used to. And I hope it doesn’t draw like that RF 50 and 85 1.2’s...Sony also seems get the rendering balance better than the RF line.
I also think it’s interesting how we are getting duplicate high-end prime lenses for the Zeiss offerings while also not getting any Zeiss primes, either Batis or Loxia, or an RX1R3–it’s seems that the Sony/Zeiss partnership has withered.
