Just got mine. In a first test against the Batis and Sony:
-The 85 DN Art is the quickest in focussing (and super quiet). Clear improvement to my GM,
-It clearly is the sharpest wide open (sharper at f1.4 than the Batis at f1.8 (I have a great copy) and clearly sharper than the GM). Didn't expect such a clear and noticable improvement.
-Sharpness is much higher and held much further towards the edges, too
-Extreme corner is sharper for the GM (which I don't care about)
-CAs are extremely low, much better behaviour than GM and clearly better than Batis
-Flare behaviour is different. The Sigma produces larger but smoother/weaker flares, the GM strong ugly green reflections.
Is a winner for us. Either the Batis or GM has to go. Must check my Sony pro service rules, first.
